Day 14... Icy Artwork!

Yesterday we made went for a walk to collect berries, twigs, leaves and evergreen sprigs. Our goal was to make some really cool ice sculptures to hang on our trees and put in our yard. The proper name for this is Land Art... i.e. stuff you make from nature and display in nature. Anyway, we had fun collecting goodies and then we boiled water (so they turn our clear and not white like your ice cubes), and after the water cooled we poured it into pans and added the sprigs. For some small ornaments we used cookie cutters and string. This was one of my favorite items we created. Pretty cool huh?!
